Be sure to check out last week’s post on the The Horticult where we give a step-by-step guide to how we designed and constructed our living wall in our garden. I cover all aspects of the design from designing a portable wall to installing the irrigation system.
Amid all the running around and prepping for last week’s photo shoot for The New York Times, I unintentionally displayed our American flag incorrectly. Being a reservist and a proud civil servant, I should not have made this mistake! Here is a great resource on how to respectfully display the American flag in any situation. I sincerely apologize for overlooking this detail.
It’s truly surreal to see my work from over the past four years featured in The New York Times ! While building our furniture and designing our outdoor space, I never imagined that I’d be able to share it with so many people. I hope this story inspires others to make their spaces their own — and not limit themselves to what they can find at stores. Soon I’d like to offer products in my own store, so stay tuned! Thanks for visiting. —Ryan Benoit
