No, I haven’t dropped off the face of the planet! My wife Chantal and I have been building thehorticult.com since September of last year and it has consumed almost every minute of free time that we’ve had. Apparently, designing and coding a website can be more involved than designing and building a succulent table!

Back at my full time job as a port engineer, we just put my ship in drydock!

On all fronts, I can say it’s been the busiest spring of my life. It has been an adventure building our garden blog, and now I’m looking forward to giving my design site some care and attention. Stay tuned for official launch announcement!

More importantly, it’s time to get back to my new workshop at Maker Place San Diego. With a couple new 3D printers and a new C&C plasma cutter my capabilities are expanding!
